Isn't She Lovely
He irons his golf shorts. She wears army boots. And they DO NOT. Like each other.
This book, you guys. YOU GUYS! You know how I gush when I love something, and this book--I loved it. Ethan is a hero that is not like many others I've read. He's got it all, but he's not damaged. Not even a little. He's polite. He's hilarious. He's drop-dead gorgeous and ridiculously wealthy. Can I fall for a normal-guy hero, I hear you asking?
Yes, yes you can.
Stephanie on the other hand is a nightmare. She's not nice, she has a sharp edge, and then...then you find out why and if you can keep the tears from pooling, then I think maybe your heart is malfunctioning. Because her story is tragic, but in a real way.
The book is also about these two writing a film together that they end up acting out, and the movie-within-a-book premise is pulled off marvelously. The ending is perfect and will have you grinning.
I'm only sorry I can't give this book more than five stars...and that I waited so long to read it.
