Teaser Tuesday...with Erin Kern
Guess what's in stores today? GUESS!
If you said TEMPTING THE BILLIONAIRE, you deserve a cookie. Go on, go get one. ;)
If you also said ALONG CAME TROUBLE by Erin Kern, get yourself another cookie!
I was lucky enough to read an ARC of this book before it came out and let me tell you - it's a fantastic, loving, sexy, and very real read. It's book #3 in her series, but can be read as a standalone. Though now I want to go back and read 1 & 2 and find out what happens. :)
WELCOME ERIN KERN!!!
To celebrate, she's agreed to come here to talk about her paperback release of the third book in her Trouble series. She’s dishing the good on the book’s hero, Brody McDermott...who you may find has looks in common with my hero Shane August *cough* Henry Cavill *cough*
Tell us about Brody:
Hair color: Very dark brown (almost black)
Eye color: Grey
Favorite line: “And you thought you could stay away from me.”
Favorite food: His mother’s chicken and dumplings.
Claim to fame: Turning his restaurant into a gold mine (which he’s currently still working on).
Best Physical Attribute: His eyes. At least that’s what the ladies tell him.
Biggest pet peeve: People who change lines without a turn signal.
Character inspiration: Henry Cavill. I mean have you seen that guy?
(Jessica: Uh, yes. I think I'm a little in love with him myself.)

“Come here,” Brody said. When she remained rooted in her spot by the door, he crooked a finger at her.
She took a few steps until she stood directly in front of him. He framed her face with both hands, then combed his fingers through her cool, damp hair. His fingers reached the ends of the strands, then he used his index finger to tilt her chin up.
“I think you love me,” Elisa whispered.
“How do you figure that?” he countered while running the pad of his thumb across her lower lip. Somewhere along the way, Elisa had started to mean something to him. She’d wormed her way inside his heart and had created a nice little home for herself. No one had accomplished that since Kelly. During the four years since his divorce, Brody had become very selective with whom he allowed himself to get close to.
“I just have a feeling.” She touched her lips to his in a tentative kiss, preventing him from responding. Then her tongue darted out, coaxing his lips open. He let her inside and kissed her slow and deep while tunneling one hand through the curtain of her hair.
They kissed for several moments in the silence of the bathroom. The whole time Brody tried to tell himself that she wasn’t right.
What other books do you have out?
The first book in the Trouble series is Looking for Trouble, which is out in stores now. And the second book is Here Comes Trouble, which RT Book Reviews gave 4 stars, and called “hot.”
Are you giving away anything fun for this blog tour?
