What I'm Reading: Mister O

The cover could have been enough to convince me to read this book! Add to that my friend and fellow writer, Mira Lyn Kelly recommending it with the highest praise, and I moved Mister O to the top of my TBR list.

Not gonna lie, guys, this one is 🔥STEAMY.🔥 I'm talking melt your Kindle, fan your face, and get a cool drink of water to pour over your head.

Bonus: it's my first Lauren Blakely book! I'm hooked. 5-stars for Mister O from me. Below is my Goodreads review.

Mister O

Mister O by Lauren Blakely

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A hero who writes dirty comics and a magician heroine may sound like the start of a joke, but trust me when I say this book, while funny, is far from its own punchline.

Nick Hammer is delightfully clueless, and since we get to stay in his POV for the entirety of the book, we get to revel in his insights and surprise and wonder the entire time.

Harper Holiday, the heroine who is receiving his (O-giving) attention is his best friend's little sister. She's sharp and witty, a perfect match for Nick.

The book is filled with the sexiest, steamiest love scenes and yet boasts so much heart, I can promise several "Aww" moments.

This is my first Lauren Blakely book and I enjoyed it IMMENSELY. Fast-paced, fun, and cleverly written, I sense another LB book in my near future. Well Hung, perhaps?
