Meet the Author
Hi, I'm Jessica Lemmon.
I am a wife, a dog mama, and a multi-published author. I’ve published over 50 contemporary romances since my debut released in 2013. I am living my dream career as a hybrid author, and I believe that nurturing our creativity is always worth it. When people ask me what I do for work, I love to answer, “I make things up for a living.” 😉
If you feel too busy living your life for others and that your dream of writing a book is too far away, I see you. If you have joined a writing group only to be swamped by negativity or disenchanted by complaints, I got you. Or, if the industry doom-and-gloom has you wondering if it's even worth bothering to write at all, let me be the one to say: It is.
Writing is supposed to be fun and creative and daring. You deserve to have a voice that is yours and yours alone. You also deserve to have support and advice from someone you can trust.
I built The Lemmon Society after going through a creative burnout that made me wonder if I’d ever write again. I know, from experience, that we writers need a sunnier, brighter, happier take on our craft.
I bring 13+ years of experience writing with editors, communicating with readers, and working in both self-publishing and traditional publishing. Add a weekly writing routine, and now you have even more reasons to show up for yourself and your book.
You can rest knowing that no matter how hectic life becomes, you have a weekly anchor. Come write in a space where you can share your goals, be cheered on and encouraged, and ask the questions you most need answered.

Questions
*How much time does it take?
As much or as little as you like. The structure is meant to give you a weekly touchpoint each Wednesday. Write by hour or by word count or by page—whichever works for you. You will also have access to a library of audio, video, and lessons if you want to go deeper.
*Do I need to be a published author to benefit?
Not at all. Whether you are dreaming of writing your first book or have written several, you’re welcome here.
*What’s the vibe?
Warm, encouraging, and judgment-free. We’re realistic about concerns, but leave the industry doom at the door. We cheer each other on instead.
*Can I ask you questions?
Yes! Bring them to our monthly live gathering in The Grove—ask me anything about writing, publishing, or how to avoid burnout and keep loving your craft.
*What if I miss a Wednesday?
No problem. There's a new one every week. Jump in whenever you're available.
*What is Telegram and do I need it?
Telegram is a free messaging app, and it's where The Grove (our private writing space) lives. Write-In Wednesday and our live gatherings happen here, so download it once and you're in!
