What if writing a novel was easy?
A good friend asked me this once. I was complaining about how difficult it was to write my current manuscript, and she asked, “What if it was easy?”
I blinked. Laughed. And then replied, “It never occurred to me to think it might be.”
Has it occurred to you that writing your book could be easy?
That you could be in flow each and every writing sesh?
‘Cause lemme tell you, I hear a lot of online chatter about how “hard” it is to write a book, and, honestly?
It makes me want to scream. 😱
Like, we get it. Writing a book can be messy and unpredictable…
But it can also be more.
It could be the start of an incredibly cool career that spans decades.
It could become a film, TV series, or an app that earns you a whole lotta cash.
Heck, the bragging rights alone are worth the effort.
Who can say they wrote a whole book? Or Twelve books? Or fifty.
Well, you can. You just gotta find your flow first.
What if sitting down to write didn’t mean staring at a blinking cursor?
What if you stopped wondering if what you wrote yesterday is garbage?
What if you could stop questioning every line, every word, and just write what feels good?
What if you could actually finish what you started without the guilt of taking time away from everything else?
Because let’s be real…
You’ve opened your book half a dozen times and thought, Ugh, I’ll deal with it later.
You’ve compared your rough draft to someone else’s finished novel and found yours lacking.
You’ve convinced yourself you’re not disciplined enough, talented enough, or fast enough.
And maybe part of you wonders if you’ll ever actually finish the damn thing.
But what if you could?
What if you found a way to write that was simple, pressure-free, and…dare I say it? Fun.
What if you felt unstoppable, like every word was bringing you closer to a masterpiece?
What if you found yourself writing so fast, you were finally able to keep up with all of your ideas?
This course isn’t about forcing yourself to write.
It’s about finally finding a writing method that works for you.
I know a thing or ten about writing novels.
When I started out, I was piecing together information from what I knew about the novels I’d read.
When I became serious about pursuing a publishing contract, I read everything I could online in order to learn how to write and submit my book. I read craft books. I joined a writing group. I attended classes.
I was hungry for the how. And I figured it out.
Over the course of two and a half years, I taught myself to write a book.
In fact, I wrote five.
And that fifth book sang. I knew it was meant to be my debut novel.
I was so sure of it, that I signed the very first literary agent I queried.
The book, and a follow-up book, sold to a New York publisher two weeks later.
I sold two books, and I had the check to prove it.
My agent told me, “You did it! You stepped through the golden door.”
I understand now what it worked for me. Because I found my way.
Well, guess what? When you find your way, it gets to be easy.
It gets to be your own.
It gets to be whatever you want it to be.
Now it’s your turn.
What’s not working:
Rewriting again and again to make it “perfect”
Avoiding your laptop because you feel like an imposter
Running out of time every. single. day. and not writing new words
Questioning your talent, your voice, and your dreams.
Just… no.
The solution:
Strengthen your characters so that you know exactly how they’ll react in every scene
Create your dream schedule so that writing at your peak rather than when you’re exhausted
Refine your approach to plotting and writing a synopsis so that you never wonder what comes next in your book
When you stop beating yourself up for falling short, you can start honoring what it is that you’d really love.
What would you love?
When you start going with the flow, your Muse perks up her ears.
No more forcing, pushing, doubting, regretting.
Wake up excited to write in the morning, or with dialogue dancing through your head at 3 AM… (The last time that happened to me, it turned into this.)
No more second-guessing every line you write.
Trust your own instincts, timing, and write The End on your book—whether it’s your first or your fiftieth.
Write for Fun is a blueprint for writing a book the easy way.
And when you let it be easy, it also gets to be fun.

I’ve been where you are. Trust. I know exactly what it’s like to be hit with an idea, start writing and lose steam in the middle. The journey from Chapter One to The End can be a long one if you don’t have a map.
Fifteen years ago, I vowed to write at least 10 books so that I would no longer be the “new girl.” To do that, I had to figure out how to dive back in again and again in a way that made sense to me. It took a lot of trial and error, and I still tweak and adjust along the way, but you know what? Here I am: forty-eight books later, multiple publishers, my own imprint, and more than a million copies sold worldwide in multiple languages.
How is this my life?! 😍
Here’s what I know for sure: You have everything it takes to do what I did, and more. Maybe you’re looking for encouragement. Maybe you need a proven a system. Maybe you want the accountability of putting your money where your mouth is.
Well, guess what?
That’s the magic of the Write for Fun course. After these classes, you will have no choice but to trust yourself!. By then you’ll have built a process that works for you. You’ll sit down (butt in chair, fingers on keyboard) and have the confidence and chutzpah to write whatever you want. Even that super-steamy scene. 😉
My point is: it gets to be easy because it gets to be honestly, truly, authentically you.
You’ll learn to trust the process and yourself. Whether it’s the first time you’ve done this or your three-dozenth.
